Samsung expands its mobile payments application facilities with even the acceptance of virtual gift cards now, purchasing and storing them as well.

Samsung gives even further facilities to its client using its digital mobile payments application Samsung Pay. It already works at most of the stores supporting 50 famous merchant gift cards in its gift cards store sections now which allows users to purchase gift cards from the merchants themselves within the application; the service is available starting today. Now users can easily purchase, share and buy, store gift cards on their phones.

The manufacturer of the best smartphones around the globe is giving its customers the best accessory possible to enhance user experience more and more. From today, December 11, Samsung Smartphone owners who use the mobile payments application of the organization can review the new modifications that have been made to it, enabling them to manage their accounts and purchase discounts cards now. After purchasing of any gift card through the app, the user can use those cards at any retailer in-store by a click on the supported device they carry with them on a day-to-day basis.

The Galaxy maker has plans to add even more stores, merchants and retailers on its mobile payment app so that users can avail more options in the coming future. For now, the company’s service supports cards of eBay, Nike, Dominos, GameStop, and many others. The global head of Samsung Pay app, Injong Rhee, said, “With the support of more than 50 major retail gift cards and the launch of the in-app gift card store, the Pay app is bringing consumers an easier way to use gift cards. People love gift cards, but how many of us have gone to pay for something only to realize we have a gift card sitting around somewhere at home? With this pay app, you can easily carry you card with you everywhere you go.”

The service enables the customers who own the company’s mobile phones to not worry about carrying the bought and received gift cards with them, allowing them the portability and the erase of concern as to whether they carried the cards with them or have forgotten them at their houses. The application supports many known banks and expanding/adding more banks rapidly. A built-in store is available on the service where users can buy gift cards for them and their friends or family.

The way in which the application functions is very similar to many of its rivals, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. The mobile payments industry is expanding rapidly and there are predictions that items purchased through this modern service are to increase to $100 billion within the next three years to come.
