Samsung regained its position at the top of the smartphone industry. The company failed miserably and lost its market position, market status, and market share in the past year due to flop Galaxy S5 in the market. The flagship product launched last year could not do much business but the South Korean smartphone maker reclaimed all of it with its new devices; Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge this year.

The corporate giant is currently moving forward at a perfect pace and does not want to hold back. Therefore, it is releasing and launching new devices every now and then. Prior to the latest news update, the company’s Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge stole the show for it. Hence, it further went on to release a more rugged version of its new flagship smartphone, which was named as Galaxy S6 Active.

Some sources indicated that it is believed the South Korean tech giant was focusing to release its first tablet of the year. It experienced a quiet year so far in the tablet market; however, it eyes to make a good comeback with the new Galaxy Tab E.

Prior to its launch, tablet specifications were leaked online. According to sources, it is believed that some trademark applications were filed by the corporate giant for its Galaxy Tab A, Galaxy Tab E, and Galaxy Tab J, but the recent online leaks propose that the organization is all set to launch Galaxy Tab E in the coming time.

The leaks indicate that the model numbers ‘SM-T560 and SM-T561’ correspond to the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G versions of this tablet.” It is expected that the new tablet, named as Galaxy Tab E 9.6, will have an 800x1280 screen resolution (in pixels) on a 9.6 inch display screen. The screen will have a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Online leaks also suggest that the tablet might run on Spreadtrum SC7730SE SoC that will include 1.3 GHz microprocessor along with 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the device will have the capability to extend the memory through an external microSD memory slot expansion, acceptable up to 128 GB.

According to sources, “The 8.5mm thick tablet will feature a 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera as well as a 5000mAh battery. Furthermore, the tablet might come with Android 5.0 Lollipop straight out of the box, it’s said that it will actually be running Android 4.4 KitKat and will also have a Kids’ Mode pre-installed.”
