Analysts believe that Samsung move for S6 Plus is poor.

Samsung Electronics is once again the largest smartphone vendor of the world. All the credit goes to its new Galaxy S6 models that changed the fate of the company in the smartphone market. Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge have competed well enough against Apple’s iPhone.

People have accepted the new models after a miserable last year. It seems like the company is determined to keep on going with the S6 models. After successfully launching S6 Active, reports have been leaked by a noted internet tipster, @onleaks, regarding S6 Plus.

According to Forbes, the online leaks of Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus follow the same information and details of the Galaxy version of S6 Edge. Moreover, it also sheds a little light on the Korean company’s fame and pride in the smartphone market. The leaks suggest that the external dimensions of the new phone are 154.45x75.80x6.85 mm. Hence, the S6 Plus will have a 5.5-inch screen, which makes it comparatively bigger than S6 and S6 Edge with a 5.1-inch screen.

The phone will further have a micro USB port and a larger USB Type C port. It is also believed that the new phone, Samsung S6 Plus Edge, will run on a magnificent Snapdragon 808 CPU. The original S6 Edge was running on the company’s own CPU, named as Exynos 7420, instead of Snapdragon CPUs.

Forbes reports, “The switch back to Qualcomm, after dropping the chip supplier for the S6 and S6 Edge is an interesting one and I look forward to the head-to-head benchmarking sure to occur. Returning to an external supplier for this key component will drive up the build cost of the S6 Edge Plus, but it’s worth noting that the S6 family was the first time when the organization had supplied handsets with the Exynos system outside of its home territory in any significant volume.”

However, it believes that Korean giant has learned nothing from the past. It is known that it is the inventors of the concept of phablet with the Galaxy Note devices and series, which has established a well-known name in the market with numerous fans.

The company is expected to launch a Galaxy Note 5 soon as well, which is said to be one of the most awaited phones. However, Forbes writes that if South Korean smartphone maker is really making S6 Plus, people should not bother and focus on Galaxy Note 5 to be launched.
