Twitter Modifies Photo Sharing Options Offering A Full Screen View Now

The social media company make yet another addition to its platform, now users can view pictures in a full-screen view without any cropping to enhance the experiences.

Twitter has been reported to make numerous changes to its services after the re-appointment of co-founder of the company, Jack Dorsey. Ithas made the news again of yet another trendy change. The tweeters are now going to be able to enjoy photo-sharing options even more through the recent enhancements. Pictures on the platform’s service can now be viewed in full-screen without any cropping of the image distorting it.

Twitter Inc images can now be viewed in full-screen view without the distortion of the image by cropping. The enhanced layout and multi-photo collaged display will provide a better experience for users. The social media giant made changes to its favorites turning it into likes which is comparatively more popular, the icon was also changed from a star to a heart just like another famous social media giant, Instagram.

The uncropped images in the social media network can now be witnessed on the website of the company, previously only a tiny section of the picture was viewable, when a user has to click the image in order to enjoy the whole image, which is no longer the case. The social media network is trying evidently very hard to stay in the race with its rivals such as Facebook, Snapchat and many others. Small images and images in landscape mode will be automatically shown even though some portrait images are still a little cropped. This recent change was announced on December 7, and is already in full functional mode on the application and website.

The social media service is also making another adjustment in the way tweets are displayed which consists of numerous pictures, those tweets with pictures will be displayed more like a collage, or a collection of images, just like Facebook’s timeline shows. Users can click on the image they wish to view in that collection of pictures; it will pop open in full-screen view with other images going to the side.

With the non-stop roller coaster of new feature and addition to its platform, the company is trying to increase its users and keep the existing ones entertained. Jack Dorsey has made many changes. ‘Moment’ was introduce and auto playing of videos, not long after that the ‘buy button was added so that users could also purchase items through the media service. Icons have been changes and now another change has been made, the company is staying updated with what the users are demanding and enjoying globally.

The product manager, Akarshan Kumar, said, “While Twitter began as an all-text platform, rich media has become essential to the experience, starting today, we’re making your Twitter timeline more immersive by uncropping photos, so you can experience and present then as they were meant to be viewed.” It can be said without doubt that the company is working very hard to keep up.

Twitter stock closed at $24.46, going red by -2.24% on December 8.
