eBay Products Can Be Shipped With Shyp

Shyp will make it easier for sellers on Ebay.

Ebay Inc. is one of those companies that have established itself as a E-commerce giant. It is not an unheard phenomenon where companies have collaborated with the giant so that they can churn in revenues via them.

The season is round the corner where people rejoice with the festive spirit, give and get packages from people they love. So now to capitalize on the opportunity, Shyp – a shipping startup is taking a step forward so that they can benefit from the online sales by offering delivery of packages. The company has collaborated with Ebay where they will be responsible for the shipment of packages.

Similar to the likes of PayPal when it initially came up with third party payments for the E-commerce platform, likewise, Shyp is optimistic that it will become the third party shipment flag bearer. The company has vowed that once they take charge, there would not be any need of waiting at the post office for the parcel or the hazard of stuffing and assembling of the boxes. They seek to make the mechanism smooth.

Stamps.com is the company that wishes to become the first catalyst the offers sellers to come up with a postage machine by simply placing an order at home. Moreover, eBay is now offering an international shipment mechanism since FY12. So in case the seller comes up with a drop shipping service, they will be liable to pack and send on their own.

The buyers on Ebay have the option to rate the sellers on certain factors like timeliness, quality and service of the goods they offer’s o by coming up with a service like Shyp, the sellers can actually benefit particularly during the festive season since the clutter during this time of the year is immense.

According to TechCrunch, “Exact numbers for how many sellers are currently on the site are scant, but the company reported its most recent gross merchandise volume at $19.6 billion. The potential for Shyp is nothing to sneeze at, should the startup even get a fraction of those sellers profiting from the service.”

At this point it is quite early to predict if the startup will catulaly be offering its services to other E-commerce giants like Amazon that has doubled the number of merchants since the previous year or Alibaba that had groundbreaking sales recently/

According to a post by the company, the service will function in a similar manner to the conventional service on the application.
